If you have MA 1.7.10 N8, then you have the latest software for your device.
 
Version 1.7.10 N8 already has Golf software.  Version 1.7.11 N8 was the non-Golf software version.  There is an update available for 1.7.11 N8 to 1.7.12 N8, which adds the Golf software.
 
To summarize:
 
Anyone with 1.7.10 N8 or 1.7.12 N8 has the Golf software, and no further update is needed.
 
Anyone with 1.7.11 N8 should perform a device update to 1.7.12 N8 in order to get the Golf software.
